Our committee is now meeting every month. In the short term our focus remains on creating the conditions for transfer of ownership from the Diocese, but we also need to be thinking about our next phase of development. Not only is that going to involve practical administration, but crucially the terms of being a charitable organisation and accessing public funding require active support and engagement from the community. We need to think about making the church an active, fun and loved asset for education and events with publicity, consultation, online communications and so on.
If you think you can join us in any capacity or just want to know about more, we’d love to hear from you anytime, or join us at our next committee meeting.
