Thundridge Old Church Action Group was founded by a couple dozen local people standing up to serve as custodians of their cherished ancient heritage site. TOCAGs lifeblood is active folk working together to preserve and promote our unique and significant River Rib gem for current and future generations.
Many hands make light work. How can you help?
Thundridge Old Church Action Group are a small group; we need support with ongoing roles and are especially keen to fill dedicated roles of: Secretary, Supporters’ Communication Lead, Event Manager, Fundraising Lead, Project Manager (Construction).
We are constantly finding new information and stories about the Old Church, the history of the surrounding area and the people who were born, lived, worked, celebrated and died here.
There are so many fascinating ‘rabbit holes’ to go down, we can’t manage them all and would to hear from anyone who loves history, people and detective work to join in on our Research Projects.
All donations are welcome: of time, creativity and financial; corporate, community group, family and individual.
Come visit Thundridge Old Church. Directions are available here.
Artifacts from Thundridge Old Church are viewable at the new St Mary’s church in Thundridge.
