This photo was found recently in an old album from Poles, Thundridge belonging to the Hanbury family. It is estimated to have been taken in the early 1900s. It is of a model that was displayed in Hertford Museum, but sadly was most likely lost in the 1950s and no longer exists there. It was most likely made of wood and paper, but I wonder if 3D printing might ever bring it back to life.
We are also in discussion with Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies (HALS) to share an image from their Luppino collection. Luppino was a nationally regarded scenery artist, the picture is really lovely and we hope to be able to share it soon.
